Sending you a postcard
How many of you still send postcards?
I love their delayed reward. The hunt to find one. Asking for a stamp in a language that isn’t yours. The thank you that’s given by your receiver, months after you get home, that brings back the moment you captured when writing it. Receiving a battered one yourself which you can put proudly on your fridge.
I hope Sending you a postcard brings you joy to a different kind of mailbox. My personal travel essays and reflections offer glimpses, not guides, into some of the places I have been. I know many share a passion for adventure on this planet and here I hope to make sense of some of them, in no particular time frame.
